Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jamesenez on September 2, 1966, is an American and Mexican actor and producer. In Mexico she began her acting career playing the role as Teresa in the Telenovela (1989-1991) as well as El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) which was the film in which she was nominated for an Ariel Award. The actress soon made her mark in Hollywood by appearing in films such as Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), and Dogma (1999). Hayek's performance as Frida Kahlo painter in Frida (2002) the biographical film she produced and won her the Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[6]. In addition, she received her Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. The following years, Hayek focused more on making films while also playing in action-oriented films such as Once Upon a Time in Mexico
