Sharp was raised within Rochester (New York) and embraced music. While at the Hochstein School of Music, she took classes in cello, clarinet as well as piano. The Boston Conservatory offered her an award for the theatre program at the school. After graduating Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Sharp's primary focus was on the stage. Sharp was a part of her first performance in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other stage shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp was a co-reader with playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp has been working on both the screen and the stage engaged in several unique projects. A full-length recording is being planned. She also continues to sing. Sharp is a fan of exercising. She is active by boxing, studying Krav Maga, and taking long trips on the road. Sharp resides within Los Angeles with family.
